Our Beef

Quality Fit for Royalty

About our Beef

Our Highlands have premium choice fodder, and live in large pastures with mountainous terrain, similar to what their homeland is like, but due to the amazing micro climate in the Annapolis Royal area, instead of harsh conditions, our cattle enjoy lush pastures filled with green edible goodness.  We feel that the better we feed our animals, the better they will taste when the time comes for them to feed us.  And we pass that quality on to our consumers!

BBQ'd Burgers

In the picture to the above, the Royal Acres Estate burger tray is on the left and the store bought burgers are in the tray on the right.

So we had a BBQ this summer and our guest brought some regular store bought ground beef to turn into Hamburger patties.  Throwing together some of our Highland beef into quick patties, and then using the same spices, also made the store bought ground beef burgers.  All the patties were roughly the same size when I began to BBQ.  You can see the results for yourselves.

Royal Acres Estate burger on the left

vs Generic burger on the right

We gave everyone at the BBQ a Royal Acres Estate burger and a Generic Beef burger, and didn't tell them which burger they were tasting first.  It was absolutely unanimous among the entire group, that the Royal Acres Estate burger far surpassed the Generic Burger in flavour, taste, and texture.
